Breck Oxford is a New Jersey native who became a vegetarian at the age of 11 when her mother dared her not to eat meat again. Being the dare devil that she is, Breck took the challenge and ran with it! Living in New Jersey in the late 80s/early 90s made it difficult to find creative vegetarian dishes. As a result salad, pizza and bread became staples in her diet.
Once Breck moved to Brooklyn, New York her palette was pleasantly surprised by all of the delicious vegetarian options at her fingertips. Before she knew it, she was managing some of the top vegan restaurants in New York City . Soon after, she adopted the vegan lifestyle and her passion for cooking fresh plant based meals blossomed.
Brecks' famous Crabless Cakes became a frequent request by family and friends alike. Often noticing that skeptics pushed their meals to the side to indulge in her plant based spreads, her ah ha moment was realized!

Breck currently resides in New Jersey and is enjoying the joys of being a first time mama to her baby boy Noble Oxford Lee.
